Symptoms we cover

If your motorcycle is doing any of this, jump on a call and we'll talk you through what to check.

  • Won't start or cranks but won't fire
  • Stalls at idle or under load
  • Check engine / fault light is on
  • Misfire, hesitation, or poor throttle response
  • Hard starting when cold or hot
  • Valve adjustment due — never done one
  • Carb sync, jetting, or fuel issues
  • Electrical gremlins or charging system
  • Clutch or transmission feel wrong
  • Coolant leak or overheating

Before you book

These quick checks save you call time and sometimes solve the problem outright.

  1. 01

Note the exact year, make, model, and engine size of your bike. The more we know up front, the more time we spend solving.

  2. 02

Check battery voltage with the bike off (should read 12.4V+). A weak battery causes a lot of phantom problems.

  3. 03

If there's a fault light, see if you can read the blink code from the dash — we'll help interpret it on the call.

  4. 04

Have your tools laid out and good lighting on the bike. A phone tripod or buddy holding the camera makes a huge difference.

FAQ

My motorcycle won't start — can you help over a video call?
Yes. A no-start is usually fuel, spark, air, or compression. On a 15- or 30-minute call we walk through battery voltage, fuel pump prime, spark at the plug, and fault codes (if your bike has them) to isolate it fast.
Can you read fault codes without a dealer scan tool?
On most modern bikes — yes. Many EFI bikes display blink codes through the dash, and we'll tell you how to enter the diagnostic mode for your specific make and model on the call.
Do you help with valve adjustments and other complex repairs?
Yes. A Deep Dive (45-minute call) walks the entire valve check or adjustment with you — feeler gauge sizes, shim or screw-type, torque specs, and reassembly order.
Which motorcycle brands do you support?
Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Indian, KTM, Husqvarna, Gas Gas, Can-Am Spyder, Can-Am Ryker, CFMOTO, and more.
